Taylor Swift has broken Michael Jackson's record by performing solo at Wembley Stadium for the eighth time. On August 20, she concluded her European tour with a performance at the famous Wembley Stadium in London, ending the tour on a memorable note. According to the BBC, around 1.2 million people in the UK have listened to Swift's music, contributing £1 billion to the country's economy.
Swift did not forget to thank her fans for this achievement. With joy, she said, “You are the reason for this success. Performing at Wembley as a solo artist for the eighth time would not have been possible without your support. Words cannot express this gratitude enough.”
Previously, Michael Jackson performed at Wembley Stadium seven times during his "Bad Tour" in 1988. Swift has now surpassed that record. While there is also a record for eight concerts at Wembley, it belongs to the pop band Take That, not a solo artist.
