Interim Government May Have 15 Members

 



General Waker-uz-Zaman, the Chief of the Bangladesh Army, has indicated that the interim government led by Nobel laureate Dr. Muhammad Yunus could consist of around 15 members.

He shared this information during a press conference at the Army Headquarters on Thursday, August 7.

He stated, “The swearing-in ceremony for the interim government might take place around 8 PM tomorrow, Thursday. The interim government may have about 15 members, with possibly one or two more.”

The Army Chief added, “Dr. Yunus will arrive in the country tomorrow. I will receive him at the airport. We hope that the swearing-in of the interim government will occur at 8 PM tomorrow (August 8).” He further mentioned, “I have spoken with Dr. Yunus, and he will guide us through a smooth democratic process.”
