Another star has fallen in Hollywood. On Tuesday, renowned actor James Darren passed away at the age of 88. The news of Darren’s death was made public by his close friend Nancy Sinatra. In a heartfelt Instagram post, Sinatra wrote, “One of my dearest and closest friends, a person in my life, has left us. Wishing a swift and beautiful journey to the universe and beyond.”
Actor Alec Baldwin also expressed his condolences on social media. Sharing a black-and-white photo of Darren, Baldwin captioned it, “RIP James Darren. I grew up with The Time Tunnel…”
Darren’s son, Jim Moret, confirmed that his father died at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles. Darren had been admitted to the hospital's cardiac unit and was scheduled for surgery. However, doctors felt he was too weak for the aortic valve replacement. He quietly passed away in his sleep. Hollywood is mourning his loss.
