Previous rankings: Preseason | Week 2 | Week 3
Kansas City Chiefs (3-0)
Week 3 ranking: 1
Biggest issue on offense: Red zone scoring
Kansas City has struggled to score touchdowns inside the 20, with a 44% success rate, ranking 22nd in the league. Tight end Travis Kelce has yet to find the end zone, and the Chiefs have had to settle for seven field goals. They’ve won three close games, but red zone improvement could prevent future nail-biters. — Adam Teicher
Buffalo Bills (3-0)
Week 3 ranking: 2
Biggest issue on offense: Developing the wide receiver room
While the Bills' offense is thriving, finding a consistent second wide receiver remains a challenge. Khalil Shakir has caught all 14 of his targets, but other wideouts haven’t been as reliable. Rookie Keon Coleman could emerge after a slow start, and veterans Curtis Samuel and Mack Hollins have room to grow. — Alaina Getzenberg
Minnesota Vikings (3-0)
Week 3 ranking: 11
Biggest issue on offense: Right guard play
The Vikings' offense is firing on all cylinders, ranking fourth in scoring and efficiency, but right guard Ed Ingram has struggled. Ingram ranks 54th in pass block win rate and 44th in run block win rate. Veteran Dalton Risner could be a potential replacement when activated from IR. — Kevin Seifert
Seattle Seahawks (3-0)
Week 3 ranking: 10
Biggest issue on offense: Pass protection
Seattle ranks 30th in pass block win rate, allowing pressure on 33% of dropbacks. Quarterback Geno Smith’s quick release has mitigated some of the damage, but the offensive line is now down to its third-string right tackle, with Stone Forsythe filling in. — Brady Henderson
Detroit Lions (2-1)
Week 3 ranking: 5
Biggest issue on offense: Red zone scoring
Despite a Week 3 win, Detroit’s red zone efficiency is down to 38.5%, a drop from last season’s 55.6%. Six red zone trips without a touchdown in their Week 2 loss to Tampa Bay was their worst performance since 1981. Improving red zone execution will be key moving forward. — Eric Woodyard
Philadelphia Eagles (2-1)
Week 3 ranking: 6
Biggest issue on offense: QB Jalen Hurts’ ball security
Hurts has struggled with turnovers, throwing four interceptions and fumbling three times in three games. He has 12 turnovers in his last nine regular-season games, leading the league in that span. With injuries mounting, Hurts needs to protect the ball better. — Tim McManus
Pittsburgh Steelers (3-0)
Week 3 ranking: 12
Biggest issue on offense: Red zone scoring
The Steelers have struggled to score touchdowns in the red zone, converting only 25% of trips, down from 48.89% last season. A variety of factors, including a new offensive coordinator and offensive line injuries, have contributed to the low success rate. Improvement will be needed to keep winning. — Brooke Pryor
