For the first time this season, Taylor Swift was absent from a Kansas City Chiefs game, as she didn’t make the trip to Atlanta to watch Travis Kelce and the Chiefs take on the Falcons in their Week 3 matchup on Sunday night.
Swift had attended the Chiefs' first two home games at Arrowhead Stadium in Kansas City, where she was seen cheering from a suite as the team narrowly secured both victories. However, her much-anticipated arrival at Atlanta's Mercedes-Benz Stadium was noticeably absent this weekend.
Last season, Swift attended a Chiefs road game against the New York Jets and even supported the team during their Super Bowl run. Despite being on tour internationally, she made it to Super Bowl 58. But this time, there was no grand entrance before kickoff.
Kelce, who has had a slow start to the season with just four catches for 39 yards over two games, faced criticism earlier in the week from ESPN’s Stephen A. Smith. Smith remarked, "We saw more of Taylor Swift than we saw of Travis Kelce" during the Chiefs’ previous game, calling for Kelce to step up as the season progresses.
Despite Swift’s absence, all eyes remain on Kelce as he looks to make a stronger impact on the field.
