Ringo Starr & His All Starr Band have been forced to cancel the last two shows of their North American tour due to illness. The legendary Beatles drummer was set to perform at TD Pavilion in Philadelphia and Radio City Music Hall in New York City, but a sudden illness led to the cancellation.

A statement posted on Starr's Instagram explained, "Ringo has come down with a cold, and after consulting with a doctor, he was advised to rest and cancel the final two shows." The message also included details on how fans can obtain refunds for their tickets and ended on a positive note: "As always, Ringo and the All Starrs send peace and love to their fans and hope to see them soon."

In other Beatles-related news, Paul McCartney recently made a surprise appearance at a small club in the Hamptons, joining producer Andrew Watt and Red Hot Chili Peppers drummer Chad Smith. McCartney performed Neil Young’s "Rockin’ in the Free World" and The Beatles’ "I Saw Her Standing There" for an intimate crowd of just 250 people.
