The message states that the powerful Typhoon Yagi has already struck Vietnam. Its effects are expected to bring heavy rainfall and flooding to northern and central Vietnam over the next two days. The message advises Bangladeshis to prepare for possible emergency situations, noting that shops may be closed during urgent times. Therefore, it is recommended to keep emergency food and medicine on hand.
Citizens are requested to stay safe at their residences and avoid traveling to affected areas. Additionally, they should monitor local news for the latest updates. There is a possibility that international flights to and from Vietnam could be affected, so Bangladeshi citizens planning to travel to Vietnam are advised to check for updates.
