Spider-Man 4 Confirmed by Marvel Studios, Tom Holland to Start Filming in 2025.

The Marvel Cinematic Universe is officially getting a fourth Spider-Man film, as Tom Holland has confirmed that filming for Spider-Man 4 will begin in the summer of 2025.

Holland made the announcement during an appearance on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon, where he simply stated, "It's happening." While rumors about a fourth Spider-Man movie have been circulating for some time, this marks the first official confirmation from Holland himself.

“Next summer, we start shooting,” Holland revealed. “Everything’s good to go. We’re nearly there. It’s super exciting; I can’t wait.”

No Story Details Yet

While no specific plot details for Spider-Man 4 have been shared, it’s expected to pick up where Spider-Man: No Way Home left off. Holland has previously mentioned that the script “lit a fire in him” and hinted at the possibility of introducing Miles Morales into the MCU.

“If I could somehow bring Miles Morales into my Spider-Man universe and the MCU, I’d love to do for a young kid what [Robert Downey Jr.] did for me,” Holland said.

Where We Left Off

No Way Home ended on a somber note, with Holland's Peter Parker erasing himself from the memories of everyone he loves—including MJ and his best friend Ned—to repair the multiverse. The final scene shows Peter moving into a modest apartment, echoing the grounded feel of Tobey Maguire’s original Spider-Man films, potentially setting the stage for a more intimate story in the next installment.

This more down-to-earth setting could also be the perfect backdrop for the introduction of Miles Morales, who often appears as a younger Spider-Man working alongside the older Peter Parker. However, fans will have to wait to see how the story unfolds, especially given Marvel’s skill at keeping key plot points under wraps.
