About the Role:

We are seeking a Senior HR Consultant for the Nordics region, based in Denmark or Norway, to partner with our Western Europe HR team and support our Nordic cluster of employees and managers. Key Responsibilities:
1. Employee Relations:
- Diagnose and resolve complex employee relations issues, including policy and cultural concerns, to maintain a professional work environment.
- Collaborate with the Employee Relations Investigations Team (ERIT) and Office of Legal Compliance (OLC) on serious cases, providing recommendations and documentation as needed.
- Monitor and interpret trends in employee relations, recommending solutions that foster an open, inclusive culture aligned with Microsoft values.
2. HR Solutions Consulting:
- Deliver expert HR consulting services to managers and employees, focusing on HR programs, processes, and initiatives.
- Lead organizational health diagnostics and analytics, synthesizing trends to guide action plans for business leaders based on specific regional or business needs.
3. Capability Building:
- Provide targeted consulting and coaching to enhance manager capabilities, collaborating with Human Resource partners to support leadership through programs like manager excellence and team-building.
- Develop training strategies to address specific needs, coordinating with HR peers to implement initiatives that build capacity within the Nordics region.
4. HR Projects and Programs:
- Partner with Centers of Excellence (CoEs) to implement scalable HR programs, manage performance and development cycles, and lead local projects tailored to the needs of the Nordics region.
- Manage project/program progress, making recommendations on timelines, budgets, resources, and overall impact.
5. Operational Compliance:
- Advocate for Microsoft values and HR policy compliance across the Nordics, collaborating with Legal and HR teams to standardize processes and mitigate potential risks.
- Localize and update policies in coordination with relevant stakeholders to ensure compliance and meet local needs.
6. Queue Management:
- Oversee and respond to queries from employees and managers, assessing severity and responding through the Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system.
- Offer insights and feedback to enhance the efficiency of the AskHR system and escalate queries as needed.
Qualifications:
- Required Experience: Significant experience in Human Resources or related business programs/processes.
- Education: Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred.
Skills and Qualities We Seek:
- Deep understanding of employee relations and experience handling complex HR cases.
- Expertise in consulting on HR solutions, especially within data analytics, employee relations, and capability building.
- Strong project management skills and experience managing large HR programs.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with a collaborative and solution-oriented approach.
