Taylor Rousseau Grigg was laid to rest following her unexpected passing at the age of 25. Her husband, Cameron Grigg, shared the news on Instagram, posting a photo of her casket at the grave site on Friday.
"It was beautiful, princess," he wrote, accompanied by a white heart emoji, with the 3 Doors Down song "Here Without You" playing in the background. He also shared images of white roses arranged with a cowboy hat and a framed black-and-white portrait of Taylor surrounded by boots holding smaller bouquets.
Cameron first revealed the heartbreaking news of Taylor’s death on October 6, calling it "sudden and shocking." He expressed his pain in an emotional tribute, saying, "No one ever expects to deal with this kind of heartache, especially at our age." He added that despite enduring immense suffering over the past year, Taylor remained a light to those around her.
Taylor’s cause of death, revealed on Thursday, was attributed to complications from asthma and Addison’s disease, a rare condition where the body fails to produce sufficient hormones, which can be life-threatening.
A source close to the family shared that Taylor had suffered a severe asthma attack, which led to further complications. In recent months, she had spoken openly about her health struggles on social media, admitting that she felt as if she had been "fighting for her life every single day."
Cameron shared that the family planned to donate Taylor's organs, saying she would want to continue saving lives even after her passing.
