Jennifer Lopez Responds to Ben Affleck's Sweet Praise for Her 'Unstoppable' Performance
Earlier this week, Ben Affleck praised Jennifer Lopez’s performance in the upcoming movie Unstoppable, where she stars as Judy Robles, the mother of boxer Anthony Robles. When asked about Lopez's role, Affleck called her "spectacular," sharing his admiration for her work. The film, based on Anthony Robles' life and produced by Affleck and his longtime friend Matt Damon, will hit theaters on December 6, with a streaming release on Prime Video scheduled for January 16.
In response, Lopez shared her appreciation for the entire Unstoppable team. During a video interview at the film’s U.K. premiere on November 5, she praised the cast and crew, saying, “I would describe all of the cast and everybody behind the scenes as spectacular and wonderful.”
The film’s director, William Goldenberg, commented on how professional both Lopez and Affleck have been during the film's promotion. “It’s always been about the movie, and that’s their personal business,” Goldenberg told E! News during the Toronto International Film Festival in September. “We kept our focus on the movie and kept our eye on the prize.”
