‘The Valley’ Season 2 to Feature Vanderpump Rules Alums Scheana Shay, Tom Schwartz, and Lala Kent .

The world of Vanderpump Rules is undergoing a transformation, with Bravo revamping the flagship reality series for its upcoming 12th season. As the original cast steps away from their roles, fans will still see familiar faces in The Valley, a spin-off series that is returning for its second season.

Premiering in March 2024, The Valley follows the lives of former Vanderpump Rules stars like Brittany Cartwright, Jax Taylor, and Kristen Doute. While the original cast of Vanderpump Rules is no longer featured in the reboot, Deadline confirms that alums such as Scheana Shay, Tom Schwartz, Lala Kent, and Brock Davies will appear in Season 2 of The Valley. The extent of their involvement remains under wraps.

A New Direction for Vanderpump Rules

Bravo's decision to reboot Vanderpump Rules with an entirely new cast comes after over a decade of drama, culminating in the infamous “Scandoval.” The cheating scandal, which saw Tom Sandoval betray Ariana Madix with their close friend Rachel Leviss during the filming of Season 10, left the original cast divided.

This fragmentation persisted into Season 11, with Madix continuing to participate despite the tensions. Cast members like Scheana Shay and Lala Kent sought to rebuild ties with Sandoval, urging Madix to support them, though their efforts were often met with resistance. Both Shay and Kent voiced concerns about the show's longevity and hoped to salvage their friend group for the sake of the series.

Life After Scandoval

Since the scandal, Ariana Madix has successfully expanded her career beyond the Bravo universe. She has starred in the Broadway production of Chicago, competed on Dancing with the Stars, and hosted a breakout season of Peacock’s Love Island USA.

Tom Sandoval, on the other hand, has taken a different path, securing a spot on The Traitors Season 3, which will debut on Peacock in January 2025.

The Future of the Bravoverse

While Vanderpump Rules moves forward with its fresh lineup, Bravo has kept the door open for the original cast members to return to other projects. This flexibility ensures the alums maintain a foothold in the network’s sprawling “Bravoverse.”

Fans can look forward to more drama when The Valley Season 2 premieres, offering glimpses into the lives of Shay, Kent, Schwartz, and others who helped make Vanderpump Rules a cultural phenomenon. Meanwhile, the new cast of Vanderpump Rules aims to carry the torch as the series embarks on a new chapter.
